Sr. Technical Program Manager, Ring – Amazon – Toronto, ON

About the Role: Sr. Technical Program Manager, Ring

In this role, you will serve as the driver of cross-functional initiatives, ensuring teams across multiple geographies stay aligned and deliver results. You will form program teams, break down complex projects into actionable workflows, develop execution plans, and lead schedules to guarantee on-time delivery.

The Sr. TPM is responsible for assessing risks, anticipating bottlenecks, reconciling trade-offs, and keeping leadership informed with clear communication. You will balance technical constraints with business priorities, facilitate collaboration across stakeholders, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global teams through the full product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Formulate program plans balancing technical risks, performance, costs, and schedules.
• Drive program execution, resolving blockers and reconciling trade-offs.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across global teams.
• Report progress, KPIs, and alignment updates to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience coordinating programs across cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to build processes and manage release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience (scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk).
• Experience defining and reporting on KPIs/SLA’s for large-scale businesses.
• Proven track record in technical program management with software teams.
