About the Role: Sr. Technical Program Manager, Prime Tech

This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you’ll serve as the critical link between product owners and development teams. Day to day, that means decomposing complex requirements into actionable technical execution plans, owning partner engagement, tracking progress toward goals, and reporting status to senior leadership across the company. You’ll be deeply embedded in the delivery of projects with enormous strategic weight — not just coordinating, but actively influencing decisions and outcomes.

Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position in Vancouver, BC is $128,100 to $214,000 CAD annually. As a total compensation employer, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional wellness resources.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Technical Program Manager on the Prime Tech team, your work will directly influence how millions of customers experience Amazon Prime. You’ll be juggling multiple workstreams across cross-functional teams, requiring strong organizational skills, technical fluency, and the ability to drive alignment at every level of the organization.

  • Champion customer experience by continually raising the bar on functionality, flow, consistency, usability, and simplicity across all deliverables

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings deep experience working directly with software engineering teams and understands both the technical and business dimensions of program management.

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
  • Cross-functional program management experience including building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Project management disciplines (scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, critical path) — 5+ years preferred
  • Experience defining KPIs and SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting findings to senior leadership
