As a Senior Enterprise Account Manager at AWS, your primary focus is driving revenue growth and cloud adoption within a defined territory of enterprise banking clients. You’ll develop and execute comprehensive account plans, manage a robust sales pipeline, and work cross-functionally with partners to extend AWS’s reach. The goal is simple — help banking customers solve real business challenges using the world’s most adopted cloud platform.
This position requires someone who can develop compelling value propositions around AWS services, manage complex contract negotiations, and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is a regular part of the job, so strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position is $123,600 to $206,300 CAD annually, based in Toronto, ON. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable. Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional wellness resources.

Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role centres on driving cloud adoption and revenue growth across enterprise banking accounts. You’ll be the primary relationship owner for key clients, responsible for understanding their unique business challenges and positioning AWS solutions accordingly. Your ability to develop strategic territory plans and execute against them will be fundamental to your success here.
- Drive revenue and market share within a defined territory or industry vertical in the financial services and banking sector
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management and deal execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans to maximize AWS penetration and adoption
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services tailored to banking clients
- Accelerate customer adoption by identifying and addressing barriers to cloud migration and expansion
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting to leadership
- Partner with AWS partners to extend reach and drive adoption across the territory
- Manage contract negotiations and bring complex deals to close
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders at both the CXO level and within technical teams
Requirements / Skills
AWS is seeking a seasoned sales professional who brings both technical credibility and executive presence to the table. The ideal candidate has spent significant time in enterprise technology sales and understands how large financial institutions make buying decisions. Familiarity with cloud platforms and the Financial Services industry will set you apart.
- 10+ years of technology sales experience, with a track record of success in enterprise accounts
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives
- Executive engagement skills — experience influencing senior decision-makers and navigating complex enterprise procurement processes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- AWS and cloud technology knowledge (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) — considered a strong asset
- Understanding of cloud computing and AI transformation trends in the Financial Services and Banking industry — preferred
