About the Role: Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer

In this role, you’ll drive the development of data pipelines, analytics, and experimentation of real-time Agentic AI solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sciences, design, and engineering, to design and deliver innovative solutions that leverage AI technologies for seamless communication experiences. You’ll also lead the integration of these advanced AI systems into Alexa’s core data ecosystem, ensuring a friction-free, data-driven decision-making process.

Compliance and teamwork are essential as you’ll collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of AI solutions. Your role will involve understanding and writing high-quality queries to retrieve and analyze data, as well as building AI-driven self-service reporting platforms.

Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position is CAD 97,400.00 to CAD 162,600.00 annually. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Responsibilities

As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, your day-to-day work will involve driving data-driven decisions and enhancing communication features through AI. These responsibilities are crucial for improving customer experiences and pushing technological boundaries.

  • Work closely with Alexa Connections product and engineering teams to understand challenges and provide analysis for decision-making.
  • Own data gathering, manipulation, and storage, as well as synthesis and modeling, problem-solving, and communication of insights.
  • Develop key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance and provide a foundation for continuous improvement.
  • Build AI-driven self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large-scale data analysis.
  • Define analytical approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and improve supply chain performance and efficiency.

Requirements / Skills
