Responsibilities

As a Shift Supervisor, your day-to-day will involve a mix of people leadership, operational oversight, and customer service excellence. Every shift is different, and your ability to delegate, communicate, and problem-solve will be put to good use across all of these responsibilities.

  • Train and monitor team members on food safety procedures to ensure compliance at all times
  • Act as Cash Manager as needed, including setting up cash registers at open and verifying cash at close
  • Conduct walk-throughs to confirm the restaurant is ready to open, close, or handle a rush
  • Supervise and delegate daily operations tasks while ensuring all Company policies are followed
  • Collaborate with Restaurant Management to train, develop, and communicate with team members in ways that improve retention
  • Maintain proper coverage by assisting with team member scheduling to meet customer service standards
  • Identify efficiencies and opportunities to optimize operations and maximize restaurant profitability
  • Resolve guest-related issues promptly and professionally to uphold Tim Hortons’ high service standards
