About the Role: Service Assistant
The Service Assistant plays a key part in ensuring Tesla vehicles are prepared to the highest standard before reaching customers. Responsibilities
Day to day, the Service Assistant keeps Tesla’s vehicle operations moving by preparing cars for customers, maintaining a clean and organized shop, and supporting multiple teams simultaneously. These responsibilities require someone who can prioritize tasks efficiently and communicate well under pressure.
- Clean and detail service, loaner, and gallery vehicles to Tesla’s interior and exterior standards
- Perform spot checks and manage on-site paint correction when required
- Deliver vehicles between production, service, and sales operations
- Expedite parts requirements as directed by Parts Operations (parts runner duties)
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Clean the shop and Parts Operations area regularly
- Support truck and trailer servicing and maintenance tasks
- Follow schedules and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Communicate with various teams involved in the vehicle orientation process
Requirements / Skills
