If you’re energized by designing intelligent, human-in-the-loop (HITL) platforms that balance automation with human judgment, and you want your design decisions to directly shape the future of finance operations at scale, this role is built for you. You’ll be working across multiple product areas, partnering with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and senior business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end enterprise workflow solutions.

About the Role: Senior UX Designer, Finance Automation

The FinAuto Experience Design team is tackling a genuinely complex design challenge: Amazon’s Finance Operations processes millions of transactions daily across a fragmented ecosystem of tools and workflows. Your job as a Senior UX Designer is to eliminate operational friction by designing scalable, AI-augmented platforms that empower finance teams to work faster, more accurately, and more strategically. You’ll be defining long-term experience strategy while also delivering tactical design solutions for immediate product needs — balancing vision with execution at every turn.

This isn’t a solo contributor role. You’ll provide cross-product design leadership, mentor other designers, contribute to or build design systems, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders at various levels and locations. The environment is fast-paced and highly ambiguous — you’ll be building both 0→1 products and evolving mature platforms used across Amazon’s worldwide operations.
