About the Role: Senior Technical Program Manager II, Applied AI

In this role, you’ll function as the definitive centre point for customer reviews and cross-functional coordination within the Applied AI deployment pod. You’ll partner closely with technical Directly Responsible Individuals (DRIs) and the Leadership Team to maintain a transparent program management state across every account — architecting a standardized Customer Health Hub that surfaces real-time metrics like Resolution Rate, Latency (TTFT), and Eval Scores. Your work ensures enterprise customers move from pilot phases to full-scale production with startup-like velocity.

You’ll act as the hub connecting Solution Architecture, Agent Engineering, and Product stakeholders, allowing technical DRIs to focus on building while you drive the roadmap, risk mitigation, and executive reporting. Weekly account audits, global portfolio reviews, and LLM validation pipelines are all part of your mandate. Google offers a competitive total compensation package for this full-time role. For Canadian applicants based in Waterloo, ON, the base salary range is CAD $240,000–$246,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Responsibilities

This role demands a highly credible technical leader who can simultaneously manage complex cross-functional programs, drive customer-facing reviews, and maintain rigorous oversight of AI agent deployments at enterprise scale. You’ll be expected to bring both strategic vision and hands-on operational discipline to every account in the portfolio.

  • Serve as operational lead within the deployment pod, driving startup-like velocity to move enterprise customers from pilot to full-scale production
  • Architect and maintain a standardized Customer Health Hub that surfaces real-time metrics including Resolution Rate, Latency (TTFT), and Eval Scores for every account
  • Lead portfolio reviews with leadership, ensuring global consistency across accounts and maintaining a transparent program management state
  • Conduct weekly audits to evaluate technical friction and stakeholder complexity, ensuring no critical deployment hits a bottleneck
  • Lead implementation of eval pipelines and testing frameworks, validating every LLM prompt or reasoning update against golden datasets to prevent regressions in agent accuracy, persona alignment, and brand voice
  • Monitor agent health using specialized dashboards, tracking mission-critical KPIs such as accuracy, hallucination rates, and latency
  • Connect stakeholders across Solution Architecture, Agent Engineering, and Product to ensure technical DRIs remain focused on building while TPMs drive roadmap and risk mitigation
  • Establish a reliable cadence for decision making, prioritization, and resource management with measurable, organization-wide impact

Requirements / Skills

  • 10 years of experience in program management, demonstrating ownership of outcomes and decision-making

  • Customer interaction leadership — proven ability to lead and align enterprise customer engagements
  • Technical roadmap development — experience building and driving complex technical roadmaps
