As a Senior Sales Area Leader for AWS Startups in Canada, you will own and define the sales strategy for early, mid, and late-stage startups across one of the world’s most important startup ecosystems. Based in Toronto, ON, you will lead teams supporting high-growth startups leveraging AWS cloud services including AI/ML, big data, serverless, and microservices.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building and developing sales teams, driving revenue growth, adoption, and retention, and ensuring startups select AWS as their primary cloud provider. You will work closely with founders, venture capital firms, accelerators, and incubators across Canada.

The Senior Sales Area Leader owns the overall startup sales motion in Canada, aligning closely with go-to-market, business development, marketing, and solutions architecture teams. You will define coverage models, sales priorities, and execution strategies to accelerate startup acquisition, expansion, and cloud migrations to AWS.
You will collaborate cross-functionally and cross-regionally to deliver a globally consistent startup go-to-market strategy, while remaining deeply embedded in the Canadian startup ecosystem. This role sits at the centre of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, and serverless architectures, supporting startups as they scale and disrupt their industries.
