Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management – Walmart – Mississauga, ON

Lead large-scale operations that keep products moving across Canada. As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management with Walmart Canada in Mississauga, ON, you’ll design and optimize end-to-end supply chain strategies that improve flow, cut costs, and elevate on-shelf availability for millions of customers.

This is a Regular/Permanent leadership role within Walmart’s 24/7 distribution network. You’ll partner with merchandising, finance, store operations, transportation, and engineering to deliver best-in-class fulfillment, from long-range planning to day-to-day execution.

About the Role

Own the strategic planning and operational performance of key supply chain programs. You’ll drive network optimization, inventory health, and on-time delivery while developing business cases, budgets, and KPIs that enable data-driven decisions. Your leadership will empower cross-functional teams and delivery partners to meet capacity, cost, and service targets—especially during peak and promotional events.

Act as a subject matter expert, championing continuous improvement, benchmarking, and the adoption of new tools and features with product & engineering to solve critical business problems and scale sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead long-range plans and annual operating plans for supply chain performance.
• Optimize delivery networks to improve efficiency, cost, and on-shelf availability.
• Develop business cases, budgets, KPIs; track financial & operational outcomes.
• Guide cross-functional teams (finance, merchandising, operations) to resolve capacity constraints and deliver best-in-class service.
• Evaluate programs for feasibility and ROI; implement industry best practices.
• Partner with product & engineering on system enhancements and new feature rollouts.
• Coach teams managing delivery service providers and store/DC interfaces.
• Plan and execute large promotional events; manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Supply Chain experience (strategy/optimization preferred).
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Operational background an asset; DC operations experience a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable results.
