Dollarama is hiring a Senior Manager, Accounting at its Head Office in Mont-Royal, QC. In this leadership role, you will drive financial operations excellence, oversee accounting processes, and strengthen internal controls to support accurate and efficient reporting.
You will work directly with the Corporate Controller overseeing asset accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial close processes, and optimization of accounting workflows while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
About the role: Senior Manager, Accounting
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Manager, Accounting plays a critical role in enhancing the finance function. Leading a small team, you will coordinate general accounting operations, review monthly accruals, balance sheets, and support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation.
Your role also includes financial analysis for strategic insights, managing asset accounting policies, designing process improvements, and ensuring governance over internal controls and audit readiness.
