About the Role: Senior Account Executive, MMS

As a Senior Account Executive on the LCS team, you’ll serve as a strategic partner and industry thought leader to major brands and agencies across Canada. Your day-to-day will involve building relationships with senior stakeholders, developing joint business strategies, and presenting Google advertising products in ways that directly connect to your clients’ marketing objectives and growth goals. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic advertising sales, managing complex client relationships and delivering measurable business outcomes.   • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive stakeholders, developing a thorough understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics
  • Develop long-term joint strategies between Google and clients, while leading cross-functional teams internally to drive collaboration and ensure client success
  • Plan and achieve growth goals by presenting Google advertising products and solutions that align with clients’ marketing objectives
  • Create data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that address customer goals and quantify high-impact opportunities
  • Develop deep product knowledge of how Google advertising solutions work across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and other platforms to address a wide range of marketing needs

Requirements / Skills

Google is looking for a seasoned sales professional who combines deep knowledge of digital advertising with a consultative approach and executive-level communication skills. The ideal candidate has a track record of managing complex client portfolios and translating business challenges into strategic advertising solutions. Both technical fluency and relationship-building ability are essential in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing — or 6 years with an advanced degree
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients in a professional capacity
  • Portfolio management experience in an advertising or media sales context (preferred)
  • Familiarity with traditional and digital media advertising solutions and how to sell against both (preferred)
  • Ability to leverage AI to drive efficiency in a sales or marketing context (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, including product knowledge across digital advertising platforms (preferred)
  • Storytelling and narrative-building skills to engage customers and communicate compelling business cases (preferred)
