Amazon is actively seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join its Workforce Staffing team as Seasonal Staffing Administrators. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the hiring process for warehouse and fulfillment associate positions across various locations. About the Role
The Seasonal Staffing Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and executing high-volume hiring events. In this role, you will assist candidates through the application process, handle work authorization documents, and conduct interviews as part of the hiring process. Collaborating with teams such as Operations, HR, and Recruiting, you will help ensure that Amazon’s hiring goals are achieved while delivering a seamless candidate experience.
Your daily responsibilities will include setting up hiring events, advancing candidates through the application stages, and providing support during community job fairs. This role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and execute hiring events to ensure a smooth candidate experience and meet hiring targets.
- Assist candidates through the application process, including managing work authorization documentation, conducting drug tests, and capturing badge photos.
- Consult with candidates to align them with the best-suited roles within Amazon’s warehouse and fulfillment operations.
- Track candidate progress using Amazon’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with background check and work authorization requirements.
- Participate in offsite recruitment events such as job fairs and community events to drive staffing efforts.
Basic Qualifications
To be considered for the Seasonal Staffing Administrator position, Amazon requires the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will make candidates stand out:
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other recruitment platforms.
- Familiarity with auditing reports, data entry, and metrics analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
