DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Sanitation Worker to join their team in Bolton, Ontario. As part of one of the world’s largest logistics companies, you’ll play a meaningful role in keeping warehouse and facility operations running cleanly and safely. Working the first shift (6:30am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday), you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across warehouse floors, production lines, and office areas. This is a hands-on, physically active role that supports the entire operation — from removing refuse to keeping exterior walkways clear of ice and snow.
About the Role: Sanitation
As a Sanitation Worker at DHL Supply Chain in Bolton, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. Your work will span the warehouse floor, break rooms, office spaces, trailers, and the building exterior. You’ll use a range of cleaning equipment and products to maintain a safe and orderly environment for all employees on site.
This role requires the ability to work independently with strong manual dexterity. You’ll be expected to complete a forklift operator certification (or equivalent training program) within the first 30 days of employment. Reliability and attention to detail are key to succeeding in this position.
Benefits and Salary
This position pays $19.00 per hour. Full-time associates are also eligible for monthly performance incentive bonuses. Responsibilities
As part of the sanitation team at DHL Supply Chain in Bolton, your daily work will directly support a clean, safe, and productive facility. From maintaining warehouse floors to clearing snow from exterior walkways, every task contributes to the smooth operation of the site.
- Clean warehouse areas using a variety of equipment and cleaning products
- Remove refuse from all offices and building areas on a daily basis
- Repair damaged pallets as part of general facility upkeep
- Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots to ensure safe access
- Wash and sweep the inside of trailers to maintain cleanliness throughout the fleet
- Clean break rooms and work areas to maintain a sanitary environment for all staff
- Maintain exterior property, keeping grounds clean and orderly at all times
Requirements / Skills
DHL is looking for a candidate who can work independently and takes pride in keeping their surroundings clean and organized. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing cleaning environment is a strong asset for this role, along with solid manual dexterity and the physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
- Minimum 6 months experience working as a custodian or cleaner in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to work independently without close supervision
- Forklift operator certificate or successful completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment
- 0–6 months general warehouse experience considered
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
