About the Role: Safety Supervisor

As a Safety Supervisor, your main duties will include developing, managing, and administering existing policies to ensure compliance with HS&E requirements. You will be responsible for promoting our Safety First Culture and developing comprehensive injury and accident management programs. This role involves conducting incident reviews to ensure high-quality record capture and follow-up.

Compliance with safety regulations is critical, and you will actively ensure continual improvement using established systems and processes. You’ll also provide recommendations for improved safety program performance and conduct benchmarking to review best practices across the industry.

Responsibilities

As a Safety Supervisor, your day-to-day work will involve tracking and analysing incident trends, recommending improvements, and promoting a safety-first culture. These responsibilities are crucial for maintaining a safe work environment and minimizing risks.

• Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations and promote continual improvement.
• Track and analyse Canadian incident, injury, and accident trends.
• Develop comprehensive injury and accident management programs.
• Conduct incident reviews to ensure high-quality record capture and follow-up.
• Lead industrial athlete and ergonomic programs.
• Own the ERTW (Light Duty) program and manage employee status.
• Analyse loss trends and report findings to determine necessary improvements.
