About the Role: Rating Associate
The Rating Associate is responsible for rating/auditing freight bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer agreements and the FedEx tariff. You’ll deliver timely, precise information to customers and internal partners, support Account Managers with account issues, and process Service Centre corrections as needed.
This role partners closely with sales and operations, applying surcharges correctly, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy under time-sensitive conditions. You’ll communicate across departments, follow company policies and applicable regulations, and contribute to a smooth billing and pricing workflow.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate information and price quotes to customers and sales.
- Rate/audit freight bills for accuracy and compliance with agreements and tariff.
- Apply surcharges according to the latest tariff and process Service Centre corrections.
- Support Account Managers on account issues; liaise with other departments as needed.
- Follow all applicable laws/regulations and company policies/procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year of related experience.
- Knowledge of Canada/US LTL transportation rules.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong accuracy, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to handle high-volume workload.
- Ability to learn new systems and manage changing priorities.
- Strong verbal, reading, and written communication; works independently and in a team.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred; required in Quebec.
