This is an interview position. As a Ramp Handler, you will load and unload FedEx aircraft and vehicles, scan freight, and transport packages between the ramp and facility, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
You will work as part of a team to maintain smooth ramp operations, demonstrating excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills. Your ability to lift up to 70 lbs (and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs) ensures safe handling of all freight.
About the role: Ramp Handler
In this part-time Ramp Handler role, you will complete all required ramp training and certifications (GSE, tug, belt loader, t-stacking, DG) and maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training. Your knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
You will operate independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, using your organizational skills to scan, sort, and transport freight efficiently. Your valid driver’s license and clean record enable you to support both ramp and vehicle operations.
