About the role: Produce Stocker
As a Produce Stocker, you will zone the department, rotate stock, and check for expired products, ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced. You will adhere to cold chain compliance, temperature recording, food handling procedures, and sanitation guidelines to maintain high produce department standards.
You will follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, labeling, and ensure the department is fully stocked and ready for business. This includes stocking merchandise, down-stocking when applicable, applying product protection, and setting modulars. You will also follow health and safety guidelines and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized produce area.

Requirements / Skills
Essential Produce Stocker Skills: Ability to zone and stock the produce department, rotate stock, check expiration dates, and ensure proper signage and pricing. Familiarity with food handling procedures, cold chain compliance, and sanitation standards is critical. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety are required.
Work Environment & Flexibility: Willingness to work morning, afternoon, evening, night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift and move merchandise, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and communicate clearly with team members and customers. Experience or willingness to learn ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and modular setup processes adds value to your candidacy.
