Produce Stocker – Walmart – Scarborough, ON

Walmart Canada’s Scarborough Village location is looking for a Produce Stocker to join their in-store team. This is a hands-on retail role where you’ll keep the produce department fully stocked, well-organized, and ready for shoppers — playing a direct part in the day-to-day shopping experience at one of Canada’s most recognized retailers.

About the Role: Produce Stocker

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Scarborough, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the produce area to a high standard. That means ensuring shelves are fully stocked, merchandise is correctly labelled and priced, and food safety and cold chain procedures are followed at all times. You’ll also assist with ordering, clearance processes, markdowns, and setting modulars when needed.

This role requires adherence to Walmart’s health and safety guidelines as well as strict compliance with food handling, sanitation, and product rotation standards. Being a reliable team player and showing up with a positive, flexible attitude are key to succeeding in this position.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.05 per hour. Responsibilities

Working in the produce department means keeping things fresh — literally. From rotating stock to ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, your work directly impacts the quality and experience customers have every time they pick up their groceries. Here’s what a typical shift looks like:

• Zone the department to keep the produce area organized and visually appealing for customers
• Rotate stock and check for expired or near-expiry products to maintain freshness standards
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced at all times
• Adhere to cold chain compliance, including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and product rotation procedures
• Follow food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols
• Process ordering, clearance, and markups/markdowns following Walmart’s established procedures
• Stock shelves and downstock merchandise as applicable, applying product protection where required
• Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times throughout your shift
