Responsibilities

• Recruit and run health and wellness clinics, documenting all interventions where permitted by provincial regulations
• Administer medications by injection where permitted under Newfoundland provincial regulations
• Order and communicate laboratory tests to the extent permitted by provincial regulations
• Oversee collection and maintenance of confidential patient medical history records
• Participate in a culture of patient safety by reducing and eliminating prescription incidents and managing those that occur
• Act as Pharmacist-In-Charge in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager and supervise pharmacy interns and students
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and keep all required certifications current
