Responsibilities

In this overnight role, you’ll be the backbone of the produce department, ensuring everything is fresh, organized, and ready before the store’s morning rush. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the overall quality of Walmart’s fresh food offering. Here’s a closer look at what you’ll be doing night to night:

• Zone the department to maintain an organized, shoppable produce section throughout your shift
• Rotate stock and check for expired or near-expiry products to ensure freshness and reduce waste
• Sign and price merchandise correctly to ensure customers have accurate information at point of purchase
• Adhere to cold chain compliance standards including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and proper food handling protocols
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic department environment
• Manage ordering and clearance processes including markups/markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labels
• Stock merchandise and complete downstocking as applicable, applying product protection where required
• Set and complete modulars including flex modulars and new shelf caps to keep displays fresh and organized
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines consistently throughout your shift
