About the role: Package Handler (Warehouse Like)

As a Package Handler, you use “hand-to-surface” methods for package handling and move freight throughout the operation by loading and unloading packages onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts, and load gratings. You will lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis during shifts that typically last 3–5 hours, with the potential to work one or more shifts each day.

You will sort packages by scanning, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, and memorizing information to determine the appropriate conveyor system. Depending on assignment, additional responsibilities may apply, such as Package Handler Trainer (training peers on safe and efficient handling) or Package Handler – Air (inspection steps to ensure Air Restricted packages are not loaded into air containers, with required gateway and regulatory training).

🕒 Shifts: Sunday–Sunday 5:30 PM–10:00 PM and Monday–Thursday 9:30 PM–12:30 AM, or Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–8:30 PM (some days may start 1:00 PM if volume is high) plus Saturday 5:00 PM–9:00 PM

Requirements / Skills

  • PH – Air (preferred): Six (6) months experience as a PH with FEC, plus required airlift/IAC training and yearly recertification.
