Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be on the floor every shift keeping packages moving through the hub. The work is physical and time-sensitive, requiring you to stay engaged and follow established procedures to maintain accuracy and safety across all tasks.
- Load and unload UPS packages into trailers and package cars efficiently and safely
- Scan and sort packages according to destination and routing requirements
- Ship and receive incoming and outgoing freight within the hub
- Stock packages in designated areas following UPS organizational standards
- Learn and apply UPS’s approved package handling methods and techniques
- Operate heavy machinery as required to move packages within the facility
- Complete additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced hub environment
Requirements / Skills
UPS is looking for dependable individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and available for night shift work. Prior warehouse experience is an asset, but not a dealbreaker — the willingness to learn and show up consistently matters most.
- Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs. / 32 kg consistently throughout a shift
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes for accurate sorting and routing
- Flexible availability to work night shifts, up to 5 days per week
- Personal transportation is required — no public transit is available between 11 PM and 6 AM
- Warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory
