As an Overnight Lead Department Manager with Walmart Canada in Hamilton, ON, you will lead overnight operations to ensure shelves are stocked, displays are set, and the store is well-presented for opening. You will support Walmart’s mission of helping Canadians save money and live better by coordinating teams and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
In this role, you will provide direction to overnight associates, partner with the Overnight Assistant Manager and daytime leadership, and take ownership of merchandising, safety, and team performance during overnight shifts.
About the role: Overnight Lead Department Manager
The Overnight Lead Department Manager leads and coordinates overnight stocking based on communicated priorities. You will assess merchandise presentation and store appearance, execute display changes as needed, and ensure defective merchandise is routed to the claims room.
You will also assume responsibility for store safety and security in the absence of the Overnight Assistant Manager, manage accidents during the overnight shift, inspect assigned areas for compliance, and participate in training and development of Overnight Associates to achieve production results.
Benefits and Salary
This is a Regular / Permanent hourly role. The minimum starting rate is $20.85/hour, with pay determined based on relevant experience. Schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights, with a primary focus on overnight operations.
