About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from the receiving area through to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading trailers, pulling pallets, processing stock, and making sure products are signed, labelled, and ready for store opening. A key differentiator of this overnight role compared to day or evening positions is a stronger emphasis on backroom labelling and bin stocking.

Safety and cleanliness are also central to this position. You’ll be expected to uphold Walmart’s health and safety standards, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure all displays and fixtures are secure throughout your shift. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll work strategically to tackle workloads and meet operational goals before the store opens its doors each morning.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75/hour, with the actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

• Labelling merchandise and placing items in backroom bins with a strong focus on accuracy — a key part of the overnight role
• Setting and merchandising features, including signing and display setup ahead of store opening
• Preparing the sales floor for store opening, including labelling and ensuring product placement is correct
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures
• Providing customer service as needed during your shift
