About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Sylvan Lake, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from the receiving area through to the sales floor. This involves unloading trailers, processing incoming stock, pulling pallets, and making sure everything is labelled correctly and placed in the right backroom bins. There’s a strong emphasis on labelling and backroom organization that sets this role apart from daytime fulfillment positions.

You’ll also play a role in setting and signing features, preparing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for store opening. Safety is a priority throughout — associates are expected to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and completing safety sweep logs.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. Responsibilities

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each shift
• Set, merchandise, and sign features and displays as directed
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of incoming merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and place stock accurately in backroom bins
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
• Label the sales floor to ensure it’s ready for store opening
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and completing safety sweep logs
