Overnight Associate – Walmart – Georgetown, ON

Walmart Canada’s Georgetown location is looking for an Overnight Associate to join their in-store team on a temporary (fixed term) basis. About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Georgetown, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from the receiving dock to the sales floor. You’ll unload trailers, pull pallets, process incoming stock, and stock shelves — all while working within a team structure to handle the overnight workload efficiently. A key aspect of this role, compared to day or evening shifts, is a stronger emphasis on labelling merchandise and organizing items into backroom bins.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is a core part of the job. You’ll follow company policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and make sure all displays and fixtures are properly secured before the store opens. If a customer happens to be around during your shift, you may also be called upon to lend a helping hand.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75/hour, with your actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

The day-to-day work of an Overnight Associate is hands-on and fast-paced. You’ll be managing the movement of merchandise from trailers to the sales floor, ensuring the store is fully stocked and organized before opening. Every task contributes directly to the customer experience and store efficiency.

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each night
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and organize items into backroom bins — a key focus of the overnight role
• Set, merchandise, and sign product features throughout the store
• Stock shelves as assigned and provide customer service when needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policies and procedures
• Complete safety sweep logs and ensure all displays and fixtures are properly secured
