About the Role: Operator
As an Operator, you will support the administration of Ocean Freight Ops and Customer Service plans. Your duties will include providing ocean freight forwarding services, gathering and providing requirements for the freight control centre, and assisting with operational details.
This role requires a commitment to compliance and teamwork. You’ll ensure effective resource management, optimize productivity, and maintain strong customer relationships. Your ability to identify and resolve issues will be key to enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Support administration of Ocean Freight Ops and Customer Service plans
- Gather and provide requirements for freight control centre
- Provide allocation and reservations for freight
- Ascertain freight rates and schedules
- Respond to customer queries and participate in visits
- Prepare and submit shipping documents
- Track account performances and provide reports
- Identify and resolve issues to improve efficiency
Requirements / Skills

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
- 2+ years of freight forwarding/logistics/supply chain experience
