FedEx Express Canada is seeking a motivated Operations Supervisor at its Brampton facility (45 West Drive, ON). This frontline leadership role supports the Safety Above All culture and oversees sort operations and Cargo Handler staff within the station.
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing package handling, routing, and recovery of potential service issues. You will also lead, coach, and train employees while ensuring compliance with FedEx policies, procedures, and government regulations.
About the Role: Operations Supervisor
As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations in the sort facility. This includes guiding Cargo Handlers, assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. You will actively resolve service challenges while maintaining operational excellence.
The role requires you to mentor, coach, and inspire your team, empowering employees to meet performance standards. You will also be responsible for administrative compliance, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement in processes, while driving FedEx’s mission of safe, efficient, and reliable package delivery.

Requirements / Skills
- Education: College degree required.
- Experience: 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior hourly role experience OR 2 years supervisory experience in a related industry.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs with equipment.
- Training: Ability to complete basic and recurrent training, including DG certification.
- Leadership Skills: Coaching, mentoring, team motivation, conflict resolution, and decision-making in time-sensitive situations.
- Other: Quebec applicants must be bilingual (French & English).
