About the Role: Operations Manager

This role sits at the heart of Amazon’s fulfilment network, which spans three key workflows: First Mile (product storage and order readiness), Middle Mile (transportation to your hub), and Last Mile (final delivery to customers’ doors). Amazon offers a highly competitive total compensation package for this role. The base salary range is $98,900 to $165,200 CAD annually for the St. Thomas, Ontario location, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, the package may include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Amazon also provides comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage), basic life and AD&D insurance, a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

Day to day, an Operations Manager at Amazon is responsible for keeping large-scale fulfilment operations running safely and efficiently. You’ll wear many hats — from coaching your team and reviewing productivity forecasts to collaborating with support departments and leading improvement initiatives.
