Benefits and Salary

Amazon offers a competitive base salary range of $98,900 to $165,200 CAD annually for this position in Hamilton, Ontario. As a total compensation employer, the package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and a variety of wellness resources to support overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager at Amazon, your day-to-day will be fast-paced and purpose-driven. You’ll be the engine behind a large, diverse workforce — coaching leaders, executing strategic plans, and making real-time decisions that directly affect customer satisfaction across Canada.

  • Support, mentor, and motivate a team of salaried and hourly associates to maintain peak performance across all shifts
  • Lead large-scope projects with measurable site and regional impact, driving continuous operational improvement
  • Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, identifying productivity requirements, and load-balancing with fellow leaders
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments to consistently meet Amazon’s high standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to develop and implement business plans
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays as required by operational needs
  • Perform physical duties including lifting up to 49 lbs, standing/walking for up to 12 hours, and navigating a dynamic warehouse environment
