This Regular/Permanent position involves working hands-on with Walmart’s online order fulfillment process. From selecting the freshest products off the shelves to ensuring every order is packed efficiently and labelled correctly, your attention to detail directly impacts customer satisfaction. You’ll operate within a structured process that prioritizes both speed and quality.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay starts at $17.75/hour, with your actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

Each day as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Waterloo, you’ll be actively involved in picking and processing online customer orders from start to finish. These responsibilities are integral to delivering a seamless shopping experience for Walmart customers across the region.

• Pick and assemble orders from various temperature zones with a focus on quality and meeting on-time delivery targets
• Pack orders accurately, distinguishing between similar products, verifying exact quantities, and confirming correct product codes
• Select the freshest, highest-quality products, avoiding damaged or substandard items to maintain customer satisfaction
• Document and label orders correctly by interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels
• Optimize tote fill by packing in a space-efficient manner without compromising product quality
• Balance fulfillment duties with customer service, addressing customer questions and resolving issues as they arise
• Maintain strict safety and food hygiene standards, keeping the work area clean, cleaning up spills promptly, and ensuring totes are debris-free before use
• Operate material handling equipment safely, completing all required pre-inspection checks before use
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to procedures, productivity, safety, and quality standards
