About the Role: Meat Assistant

Responsibilities
The Meat Assistant role at Costco involves a consistent set of daily tasks that keep the meat department running smoothly and in line with food safety regulations. - Set the labeller according to product type and price, then print and apply labels to each package
- Stock display cases by reaching through sliding windows or repositioning racks to floor level
- Operate the meat grinder, load product, and check the fat content of each batch for quality consistency
- Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the shift in compliance with health code standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and related implements
- Provide courteous member service and assist in other warehouse areas when needed
Requirements / Skills
