Responsibilities
Working as a Maintenance Assistant at Costco means staying active and engaged throughout every shift. Your day-to-day duties keep the warehouse running safely and efficiently, ensuring both members and staff have a clean and comfortable environment to work in.
- Clean warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms using self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery, sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping

- Collect cardboard and empty trash throughout the warehouse on a regular basis

- Help with general upkeep of grounds and building, including performing perimeter checks
- Inform management of any maintenance or facility issues that need attention
- Respond quickly to spills and clear the work area of any debris or trip hazards
- Follow all safety and security procedures and provide prompt, courteous member service
