About the Role: Letter Carrier – Delivery Agent

As a Letter Carrier at Canada Post in Vaudreuil-Dorion, your day begins at the depot where you’ll sort and prepare deliveries, load your postal vehicle, and head out on your assigned route. The bulk of your shift is spent outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or vehicle to residential and business customers. Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare the day’s deliveries at the depot each morning
• Load and operate a Canada Post postal vehicle safely and responsibly

Requirements / Skills

• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record for at least 3 years (driver’s abstract required)
• Physical ability to lift items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the shift
• Availability to be on-call as required by the operational schedule
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all types of weather conditions
• French language proficiency is essential; English is also an asset
• Experience in customer service or delivery/driving roles is a plus
