About the Role: Head of ACC Management
At its core, this position is about leading air freight volume growth and maintaining pricing competitiveness across all product lines. You’ll work in close collaboration with the Marketing & Sales organization, station management, and Regional Product Heads to execute on growth ambitions and strategic pricing initiatives. The role spans both local contract negotiations and global RFQ processes, giving you broad commercial exposure within a multinational logistics environment.
Beyond strategy, this role carries significant people leadership responsibilities. You’ll mentor and develop a team of pricing specialists, allocate resources across pricing requests and tenders, and foster a high-performance culture grounded in operational excellence. Responsibilities
The Head of ACC Management plays a pivotal role across four key pillars: volume growth and tender management, team leadership, strategic pricing, and data integrity. Day to day, you’ll be making high-impact decisions on pricing competitiveness, RFQ execution, and team direction — all of which directly influence DHL Canada’s commercial performance.
- Drive volume growth across all air freight products in coordination with station management and Country/Regional Product Heads
- Oversee all tenders run through the country/cluster ACC as part of the global and country RFQ process, ensuring efficient execution with stakeholders
- Set competitive pricing and manage rate setting across global, regional, and country-level business
- Spearhead RFQ analytics to improve win ratios and drive country-led RFQs to increase growth
- Lead and mentor a team of pricing specialists, fostering a high-performance culture and providing coaching and career development support
- Define and execute local and regional pricing strategies in coordination with Regional PCM
- Analyze trade lane performance and customer profitability to optimize pricing models
- Partner with Sales, Trade Lane Managers, Carrier Management, and Product teams to align pricing with commercial objectives
- Ensure accurate maintenance of tariffs, surcharge tables, and pricing data in systems such as MTS and CW1
- Monitor compliance with pricing governance, customer agreements, and internal controls
Requirements / Skills
This role is suited to a seasoned air freight professional who brings deep industry expertise alongside proven pricing leadership and strong commercial instincts. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in the air freight forwarding industry, with at least 2–3 years in a pricing leadership role
- Multinational environment experience, ideally within a large corporation
- Proven track record as a leader with strong customer contacts in the air freight sector
- Ability to travel approximately 20% as required by the role
- Legal authorization to work in Canada — note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position
