About the Role: Grocery Associate

Responsibilities

• Zone the department to maintain a tidy, well-organized grocery area throughout your shift
• Rotate stock and check for expired or damaged products to uphold product quality standards
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed, labelled, and priced for customers
• Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, including sanitation and cleaning protocols
• Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labels
• Stock shelves and perform downstocking as applicable, applying product protection when required
• Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe workplace
