About the Role: General Merchandise Associate
As a General Merchandise Associate, you’ll cover assigned areas of the sales floor, zone merchandise, set and complete modulars, and move feature merchandise back to its home location. You’ll work recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk, assist with Front End coverage, and keep communication flowing between associates to maintain proper floor coverage. The role calls for someone who can stay on top of multiple tasks and contribute to a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.
Safety is a genuine priority at Walmart, and this role includes responsibility for completing safety sweep logs, ensuring displays and fixtures are secure, and following all Company policies and procedures. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be actively involved in both the customer-facing and behind-the-scenes sides of running a retail store. From greeting shoppers to stocking shelves and setting product displays, your work directly impacts the customer experience and store standards at Walmart Williams Lake.
