About the Role: General Merchandise Associate

As a General Merchandise Associate at the Whitby Walmart, your primary focus is delivering outstanding customer service while keeping the general merchandise area fully stocked, zoned, and visually appealing. • Move feature merchandise back to its modular home and manage recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other store areas
• Stock merchandise and downstock as applicable, apply product protection where required, and set and complete modulars including flex modulars and new shelf caps
• Assist with Front End coverage as needed to support store operations during peak periods
• Communicate with fellow associates to ensure consistent floor coverage is maintained throughout the day
• Contribute to a safe work environment by following company health and safety policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring all displays and fixtures are secure
