Responsibilities

Working as a General Merchandise Associate means staying active and engaged across multiple areas of the store. From customer interactions to merchandise stocking and zone maintenance, your contributions directly impact the shopping experience. Here’s what you’ll be doing on a regular basis:

• Greet and assist customers in a polite and friendly manner, helping them locate merchandise, promoting products and services, and supporting their purchase decisions
• Resolve customer concerns and refer issues to the appropriate team members when needed
• Cover assigned sales floor areas and ensure proper zoning is maintained throughout your shift
• Move feature merchandise to its designated modular home on the floor
• Work recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other store areas
• Assist with Front End coverage as required
• Communicate with fellow associates to maintain consistent floor coverage
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring fixtures and displays are secure
• Stock merchandise, downstock, set modulars (including flex modulars), apply product protection, and set new shelf caps as needed
