About the Role: Gateway Warehouse Worker

This position is centred on the physical handling of packages throughout the warehouse. You’ll be responsible for loading and unloading packages into trailers and package cars, as well as scanning, sorting, shipping, receiving, and stocking items. Employees may also operate heavy machinery as part of their daily tasks. No previous experience is required — UPS provides the training you need to get started.

Responsibilities

As a Gateway Warehouse Worker, your day-to-day tasks revolve around the safe and efficient movement of packages through the UPS facility. Every action you take directly supports on-time delivery across the network, making accuracy and physical capability key parts of the job.

• Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars
• Scan, sort, and stock packages accurately throughout the warehouse
• Ship and receive incoming and outgoing parcels as part of daily operations
• Operate heavy machinery as required to complete warehouse tasks
• Follow UPS package handling methods to ensure packages are processed safely and correctly
• Adapt to variable shift hours based on operational needs, including early starts before 6:00 AM if required
• Perform additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced warehouse environment
