In this hands-on role, you’ll be at the heart of warehouse operations — moving, loading, unloading, and storing products while keeping safety, accuracy, and cleanliness front of mind. Day-to-day, you’ll use an electric forklift, RF scanning equipment, and your own sharp eye for detail to keep inventory flowing efficiently through the facility.

About the Role: Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator at DHL Vancouver, your core responsibility is the safe and accurate movement of goods throughout the facility. You’ll load and unload trucks, transport palletized or crated goods, and ensure all products are stored in their correct designated locations according to inventory control guidelines. Scanning merchandise with an RF gun during each movement keeps records accurate and operations running smoothly.

Beyond operating the forklift, you’ll conduct daily equipment inspections, handle routine maintenance tasks like battery charging and lubrication, and verify that all loads are properly secured before moving them. Working within a team-oriented environment, you’ll be expected to contribute to a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times — a core value across all DHL facilities.
