This is a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse position with a strong emphasis on both manual case-picking and powered equipment operation. You’ll spend the majority of your shift ensuring products are accurately picked, staged, and ready for shipment — all while maintaining DHL’s high standards for safety and inventory accuracy.

About the Role: Forklift Operator

As a 3rd Shift Forklift Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating powered material handling equipment (MHE) — including dock stockers and reach trucks — to move, stack, and count product throughout the facility. Approximately 80% of your shift involves case-picking by hand (up to 50 lbs), with the remaining 20% dedicated to MHE operation. You’ll also verify inbound and outbound product accuracy, check for damage, and ensure goods match customer requirements.

Working the Sunday through Friday night shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am), you’ll be part of a team that takes workplace safety, equipment care, and operational excellence seriously. From completing daily equipment inspections to complying with OSHA and MSDS standards, every task you complete contributes to a smooth and efficient supply chain.

This position pays $23.25 per hour, and full-time associates are eligible for monthly performance bonuses. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of DHL’s warehouse operations — handling everything from product movement and staging to inventory verification and equipment upkeep. These responsibilities are essential to keeping the supply chain accurate, efficient, and on schedule.

  • Operate powered equipment including forklifts, dock stockers, and reach trucks to load, unload, move, and stage products (80% of shift)
  • Case-pick by hand products weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily warehouse duties
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, verifying that the exact number and types of products are loaded correctly
  • Verify load accuracy by checking load counts, stability, and product condition, and report any variances promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support ongoing inventory accuracy
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards to ensure a safe and regulation-compliant work environment
  • Inspect equipment daily and change batteries or LP tanks as required; keep all equipment and materials clean and orderly
  • Assist with physical inventories and support the broader warehouse team as needed

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Physical capability to case-pick products up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
  • Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
