DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team in Ancaster, Ontario. This is a 2nd Shift position running Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and it’s a solid opportunity with one of the most recognized logistics companies in the world — one that has been certified as a Great Place to Work® and Top Employer in Canada for the third year in a row.
In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your shift behind the controls of a Reach Truck, moving, stacking, and counting product throughout the warehouse. There’s also a hands-on element with manual picking involved, making this a physically active position that suits candidates who prefer to keep moving throughout the day.
About the Role: Forklift Operator
As a Forklift Operator at DHL Supply Chain in Ancaster, your primary duties revolve around the safe and efficient operation of powered warehouse equipment — specifically a Reach Truck for approximately 90% of your shift. You’ll be responsible for moving, locating, stacking, and counting product, as well as checking all inbound and outbound shipments to verify load accuracy, product condition, and compliance with customer requirements. Manual picking of up to 60 lbs will make up roughly 75% of the physical demands of the day.
Attention to detail matters in this role. You’ll be expected to maintain accurate inventory records, report variances, and ensure all operations align with OSHA and MSDS standards. Candidates with inventory skills are especially valued, and there’s also the possibility of serving as a Backup Coordinator for Inventory Control — a great way to grow your responsibilities within the team.
