About the Role
As a Food and Consumables Team Associate, you will maintain Walmart’s food and consumables department to the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. From stocking shelves and zoning displays to assisting customers with their shopping needs, you’ll help ensure every visit is a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Zone and maintain shelves, tables, and product displays for proper organization and visibility.
- Rotate stock and check for expired or outdated products.
- Ensure merchandise is accurately signed and priced.
- Follow standards and policies for food handling, temperature control, cold chain compliance, and expiration management.
- Support procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, labeling, and pricing.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to Walmart’s core values.
