Flex Driver – FedEx – Saskatoon, SK

To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, you will review orders prior to delivery, load and unload the vehicle, and provide exceptional customer service to our client base. This role offers flexible shift opportunities based on business requirements, allowing you to adapt to varying hours.

This position is a casual role where you will leverage your valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 70 lbs while operating safely and efficiently. You will work in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks under pressure and maintaining high standards of time management and organizational skills.

About the role: Flex Driver

As a Flex Driver, you will review orders before delivery, load and unload the vehicle, and follow Federal Express Canada procedures to ensure each package reaches the customer on time. You will provide exceptional customer service by interacting courteously with recipients and following all safety guidelines, including lifting up to 70 lbs and handling packages securely.

You will operate according to mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training thresholds and complete all required basic and recurring training. In provinces like Quebec, bilingualism (French and English) is required. You will adapt to varying routes and shifts, demonstrating good time management and the ability to multitask in a highly pressured environment.

Requirements / Skills

Driver’s License & Physical Ability: Must have a valid full Class 5 driver’s license (or provincial equivalent). Ability to lift up to 70 lbs safely and follow all vehicle loading/unloading procedures. A clean driving record with no more than two violations/accidents in the past 24 months is required.

Customer-Oriented & Interpersonal Skills: One (1) year of customer-oriented business experience preferred. You will need excellent customer service skills, good communication, and the ability to multitask and handle stress in a highly pressured environment. Time management and organizational skills are critical.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational credential
• Valid full Class 5 driver’s license or provincial equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and follow safe lifting procedures
• Complete and pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrent training modules
• Good interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a highly pressured environment
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is an asset
• In Quebec: must be bilingual (French and English)
