Electronics / Majors Sales Assistant – Costco – Mississauga, ON

Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. is seeking an Electronics / Majors Sales Assistant at the Mississauga location (5900 Rodeo Drive). In this role, you’ll sell and demonstrate major appliances, electronics, and jewelry, while ensuring members receive prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous service. This is a hands-on position that combines sales expertise, product knowledge, and customer support in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll help members make informed purchase decisions by explaining product features, demonstrating merchandise, and answering questions. You’ll also maintain clean and well-stocked displays, process returns, and support promotions and merchandising initiatives. About the role: Electronics / Majors Sales Assistant

Electronics and major appliance sales are among Costco’s most dynamic departments. This role requires you to stay current on technology and industry trends by reviewing product literature and industry magazines. You will also stock merchandise, maintain product signage, organize security lock-up, and assist members with product loading. The position contributes directly to Costco’s reputation for value and service on high-ticket items.

You will work closely with the Area Manager to provide updates on product availability, delivery, pricing, and promotions while ensuring merchandising standards are met consistently. Occasionally, you may assist other departments as needed to support overall warehouse operations.

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Sales experience preferred, particularly in electronics or major appliances.
• Must pass the Costco PC/Electronics knowledge test.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and assist with merchandising and product handling.
• Note: In Quebec, candidates must be bilingual (oral and written French required).
