About the Role: Early AM Sorter

Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role is all about keeping the Kelowna UPS facility running on schedule. From the early morning hours, you’ll be actively handling packages and supporting the warehouse team to ensure every shipment is processed correctly and on time.
- Load and unload UPS packages into trailers and package cars
- Sort and scan parcels accurately to ensure proper routing
- Stock packages in designated areas within the warehouse
- Learn and execute UPS package handling methods to maintain safety and efficiency
- Operate heavy machinery as required to complete warehouse tasks
- Complete additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment
Requirements / Skills
UPS is looking for candidates who are physically capable, dependable, and ready to show up and contribute from day one. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus, though not strictly required.
- Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs. / 32 kg. regularly throughout the shift
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes for accurate package sorting
