About the Role: Distribution Centre Team Associate

As a Distribution Centre Team Associate at the Surrey Perishable DC, your day revolves around keeping product moving accurately and efficiently. You’ll be loading and unloading trailers, replenishing stock, filling orders, and making sure inventory gets where it needs to go — all while meeting performance expectations for picking accuracy and throughput.

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment is a key part of the job. You’ll be expected to follow all health and safety programs, housekeeping standards, and operations policies in compliance with company policy and applicable legislation. Working in a perishable facility means cold storage conditions are part of the daily reality, so physical readiness and proper PPE are essential from day one.

Responsibilities

Working in a perishable distribution centre means every shift counts. As a team associate, you’ll move between key warehouse functions — receiving, picking, and shipping — based on operational needs, making versatility and reliability central to success in this role.

• Load and unload trailers as part of general warehouse duties
• Pick, receive, and ship freight across multiple areas of the distribution centre
• Replenish and restock inventory and customer product throughout the facility
• Maintain order filling performance expectations while upholding high picking accuracy
• Follow all operations policies and procedures on a consistent basis
• Adhere to health and safety and housekeeping programs to ensure compliance with legislation and company policy
• Work in cold temperature zones ranging from +12°C to -24°C continuously throughout the shift

Requirements / Skills
