Job Summary & Tips for Applying

AI-generated summary and tips to help you highlight your strengths effectively.

To stand out for the Operations III Selector position, tailor your resume to the exact warehouse fundamentals Walmart lists: receiving, order filling, and shipping freight in and out of the distribution centre. If you’ve worked in picking, receiving, or shipping before, describe the environment (DC/warehouse), the pace, and how you maintained picking accuracy while meeting performance expectations.

Because this role is physical and shift-based, make it clear you can handle repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs) and long overnight shifts. Mention your experience with trailer load/unload, restocking, replenishment, and following operational procedures. Hiring teams also like to see that you understand the basics—steel-toed boots, PPE, and that safety and housekeeping are part of the day-to-day, not “extra tasks.”

For the interview, be ready to explain how you stay accurate when you’re moving fast: double-checking labels, staying organised in your pick path, and following process every time. If you can share one quick example of keeping quality high under pressure—without cutting corners on safety—you’ll align strongly with what this distribution centre night role is designed for.
